Established by the charter and by-laws of the Cooperative, the Executive Board manages the affairs and furthers the intentions of the Cooperative. The Executive Board is made up of up to seven resident members who are selected by the nominating committee and two members that live outside of Glen Ridge. One of the outside members is a representative of Glen Ridge’s sponsor, The New Samaritan Corporation, and the other outside member is chosen from the local community typically for their expertise (e.g. building trades, finance). The resident members are elected to two year staggered terms and are elected by the membership at its annual meeting in December. The board meets once a month.
