The Finance Committee advises the Executive Board on the Cooperative’s financial matters. Its primary responsibilities include reviewing the current budget, monthly financials, and making recommendations for the subsequent fiscal year’s operating budget. The committee plans for the future financial health of the Cooperative, manages Cooperative investments, and makes recommendations on proposed expenditures of Cooperative funds not budgeted or out of the ordinary for the Cooperative. The Committee usually meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month except December.
