The Building and Grounds Committee’s primary responsibility is to serve as the Cooperative’s body for ensuring that Glen Ridge’s buildings and grounds are adequately maintained and that they represent the needs of the Cooperative. Working in unison with the Glen Ridge Administrator, the Committee oversees and endorses recommendations for suggested alterations, repairs, or improvements and provides those recommendations to the Executive Board on projects approved by the Committee. The Committee responds to all requests in a timely manner and treats all requests without bias or prejudice. This committee is open to all members. Any member who wishes to be on this committee must sign up at the annual meeting. If a committee member wants to continue to be on this committee at the end of the year, they must sign up again at the annual meeting. The Committee meets usually on the 2nd Tuesday of every month except December.
